Catwalk for Guthrie Theater

The Guthrie, a $125 million dollar project, required trusses up to 115,000 lbs., radiused tube steel, unitized catwalks and 6 ft. deep plate girders 100 ft. long. The “Endless Bridge”, which cantilevered out approximately 180-0 feet, was made up of jumbo 14" I-beams. The largest, W14x730, had 5" thick flanges & weighed 730 lbs a foot. This project was approximately 4000 tons.
